About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Shadow Partner Success to map workflows and identify high-leverage automation opportunities
Build and improve AI agents for client follow-ups, status updates, escalations, and ticket classification
Write evaluations and review loops to determine agent accuracy and when human intervention is needed
Automate partner reporting and job audits using BigQuery and dbt data
Build lightweight internal tools and dashboards
Connect the platform, ticketing, messaging, and data warehouse systems through APIs
Use Claude Code and similar AI coding tools as part of development
Document shipped work and its impact
Own production systems from the first month
Work directly with Partner Success, gather feedback, and refine solutions
Support information security audits, assessments, and control reviews as requested

Requirements

What you’ll need

0–2 years of professional software engineering experience, or equivalent hands-on project experience
Working proficiency in Python or TypeScript
Comfort writing SQL
Hands-on experience building with LLM APIs or agent frameworks through professional, academic, or personal projects
Regular use of AI coding tools, with a practical sense of their strengths and limitations
Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts in plain language to non-technical teammates
Ability to work closely with end users, gather feedback, and iterate quickly
Strong problem-solving skills and comfort with ambiguous, loosely defined problems
Sound judgment and attention to detail when handling sensitive client and financial data
Comfortable working in a fast-paced technology company
Experience in a customer-facing, support, or operations role (preferred)
Familiarity with BigQuery, dbt, or another data warehouse stack (preferred)
Experience with ticketing or CRM tools and their APIs (preferred)
Interest in fintech, tax, or financial services (preferred)
Comply with Taxfyle’s information security policies and acceptable use standards
Complete mandatory information security awareness training
Report suspected security incidents, vulnerabilities, or policy violations
Protect access credentials and company data per the Data Classification Policy
Support information security audits, assessments, and control reviews
