About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Advise clients
- Facilitate workshops
- Design clear user experiences for complex applications
- Become familiar with projects, clients, and existing design systems
- Get up to speed on existing concepts and ongoing projects
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and screens
- Support client meetings and workshops as part of the team
- Take ownership of projects from requirements gathering and conceptualization through handover to development, and support implementation
- Present and defend concepts
- Plan and facilitate workshops with clients and the team
- Plan, conduct, and evaluate user interviews and usability tests
- Work on complex UX challenges in large-scale applications
- Maintain and further develop design systems (Design Ops)
- Estimate effort for proposals and coordinate closely with Project Management and Development
- Introduce AI into design processes
- Take on subject-matter responsibility for a topic or area in the future, without disciplinary management responsibilities
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience as a UX/UI Designer in an agency environment, working in interdisciplinary teams with Project Management and Development
- Confident in consulting, client communication, and workshop facilitation
- Experience with complex UX work in large-scale applications
- Experience building, maintaining, and further developing design systems (Design Ops)
- Advanced proficiency in Figma
- Excellent German skills (C1 or higher)
- Knowledge of iOS and Android guidelines (nice to have)
- Agile way of working (Scrum, Kanban, or similar) (nice to have)
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher
- Willingness to travel occasionally, approximately 2–3 times per year within Germany
