About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support hiring needs across TDS; specific job titles and alignments determined closer to the hiring date based on business needs and candidate qualifications
- Work independently as a senior analyst and subject matter expert
- Coach and educate others
- Oversee and/or independently perform tasks from end to end
- Address short- to medium-term issues, including monthly and quarterly matters
- Provide specialized business management advice and support to management, leadership, and relevant teams
- Identify trends, issues, and opportunities and recommend actions to management
- Lead implementation of initiatives supporting business or function strategy
- Manage business management activities requiring coordination across multiple areas
- Support or manage implementation of policies, processes, procedures, and changes across functional areas
- Provide subject matter expertise and input to projects and initiatives
- Identify, design, and test solutions supporting implementation activities
- Develop and provide complex reporting, analysis, and assessments
- Develop and deliver presentations and communications
- Review internal processes and activities and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency
- Identify variances and contribute to analysis, due diligence, and implementation of initiatives and business operations
- Support development and implementation of standards, policies, procedures, and risk-mitigation solutions
- Maintain knowledge of the business, analytical tools, techniques, and emerging trends
- Manage workload and deliver quality results within assigned timelines
- Support a positive, service-oriented, innovative, and collaborative work environment
- Recommend productivity, effectiveness, and operational-efficiency improvements
- Build relationships with business and technology partners, program managers, and project managers
- Participate in knowledge transfer within the team and business units
Requirements
What you’ll need- Undergraduate degree
- 3+ years relevant experience
- Ability to work independently as a senior analyst / subject matter expert
- Ability to coach and educate others
- Business management expertise and awareness of industry, external, internal, enterprise, and business trends
- Ability to lead implementation of initiatives supporting business/function strategy
- Ability to coordinate business management activities across multiple areas
- Experience supporting or managing implementation of policies, processes, procedures, and changes across multiple functional areas
- Subject matter expertise or project/initiative experience in the relevant area of specialization
- Ability to develop complex reporting, analysis, and assessments
- Ability to develop and deliver presentations and communications to management or broader audiences
- Knowledge of internal policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory guidelines
- Ability to analyze variances, perform due diligence, and implement initiatives or business operations
- Ability to support standards, policies, procedures, and solutions that mitigate risk and maximize service availability, efficiency, and effectiveness
- Knowledge of analytical tools and techniques
- Ability to prioritize and manage workload to meet timelines
- Ability to establish relationships across business and technology partners, programs, and project managers
- Occasional domestic travel; no international travel
- Continuous sedentary work, multitasking, office equipment operation, sitting, concentration, reading, writing, comprehension, and basic arithmetic
