About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop, deploy, and maintain ML models for customer segmentation, acquisition, pricing, and lifetime value use cases
- Translate business problems into analytical frameworks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define success metrics and solution approaches
- Evaluate model performance, fairness, and stability through model evaluation, A/B testing, and production monitoring
- Communicate complex technical results to non-technical stakeholders and provide actionable insights
- Manage relationships across business lines, corporate and/or control functions
- Ensure alignment with enterprise and regulatory requirements
- Keep current on emerging trends and developments
- Grow knowledge of the business, related tools, and techniques
- Act as a brand ambassador for the business area/function and TD
- Help evaluate and build Agentic AI, Generative AI, and traditional ML solutions using Pro Code or Low Code tools
- Potentially manage people
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of experience applying machine learning to real-world business problems
- Proficiency in Python and key ML libraries
- Experience with structured and unstructured data, feature engineering, and model interpretability techniques
- Hands-on experience with model deployment and monitoring in a production environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and a track record of delivering results in cross-functional teams
- Comfortable and effective when interacting with a wide range of business partners and stakeholders
- Ability to develop and maintain strong internal relationships with several stakeholders
- Ability to translate complex/technical terms and concepts into easy-to-understand business language
- Motivated to constantly strive to find innovative ways to enhance processes and analytical solutions
- Undergraduate degree required
- Experience working in financial services or regulated environments
- Exposure to GenAI or large language models and their practical applications
- Familiarity with causal inference or reinforcement learning
