About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead teams in completing investment and unsecured credit compliance transactions and complex activities affecting the bank
  • Coach advisory and frontline staff on resolving customer complaints according to customer problem resolution guidelines
  • Resolve operational and high-risk issues while ensuring regulatory and policy compliance
  • Mentor the team on advice-giving strategies and effective customer experience delivery
  • Ensure branch common areas and advisory spaces are inviting and approachable
  • Determine and maintain accurate employee scheduling
  • Share information, skills, and subject matter expertise while coordinating team activities
  • Work with TD partners to help customers meet their financial needs
  • Improve team processes and work efficiency through ongoing feedback and guidance
  • Ensure performance management activities are undertaken
  • Support a positive and diverse workforce through equal opportunity, timely communication, and strong working relationships

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Undergraduate degree and/or over 4 years of relevant experience
  • Completion of Branch Compliance Officer (BCO) and IFIC or CSC Course
  • Extensive knowledge of team, process, and risk management
  • Advanced understanding of the business
  • Proficiency in productivity and software tools including MS Office and internet applications
  • Strong communication skills to liaise with customers, employees, and cross-functional teams
  • Thorough and accurate decision-making and good judgment when working with confidential information
  • Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced work environment
  • Strong communication, planning, and time management skills
  • Good communicator with a go-getter attitude
