About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Conduct analyses on curated and/or aggregated DataMarts to generate analytical insights
- Identify opportunities to drive business growth and value
- Produce relevant analysis and materials supporting business goals and objectives
- Develop analyses and visualizations or presentations illustrating business trends and opportunities
- Produce insights and recommend business actions supporting strategy and solving business problems
- Partner with functional areas to provide day-to-day analytics support and delivery
- Execute data requests accurately and timely
- Translate business requirements into analytics and reporting needs
- Provide analytics insights and collateral
- Contribute to identifying key performance indicators
- Identify opportunities for business or revenue growth and efficiencies
- Investigate data and analytics issues and validate analysis accuracy
- Educate and train business users on integrating analytics into decisions
- Provide recommendations on financial and monetization goals, cost savings, and revenue generation
- Build business requirements and facilitate project execution
- Conduct internal and external research projects and support presentations and communications to management
- Lead work streams as project lead or subject matter expert for small-scale projects and initiatives
- Provide thought leadership and industry knowledge
- Mentor others, share knowledge, and support team capability development
- Keep stakeholders informed about project status and relevant activities
- Build productive relationships with internal and external business partners
- Maintain risk management and control practices
Requirements
What you’ll need- Undergraduate degree or advanced technical degree preferred, such as math, physics, engineering, finance, or computer science
- Graduate degree preferred with either progressive project work experience, or 3+ years of relevant experience; higher degree education and research tenure can be counted
- Advanced experience in SQL, Python, Power BI, and other programming languages
- Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
- Ability to conduct analyses on curated and/or aggregated DataMarts
- Business subject matter expertise
- Ability to work independently as a senior analyst/subject matter expert
- Ability to oversee and/or independently perform tasks end-to-end
- Knowledge of quantitative and qualitative methodologies
- Knowledge of practices, procedures, emerging trends, and regulatory requirements within the functional area
- Ability to identify and manage risks and escalate high-risk activities
- Ability to adhere to internal policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines
- Ability to perform sedentary work, multiple tasks, operate standard office equipment, concentrate for long periods, comprehend instructions, and perform basic arithmetic on a continuous basis
- Occasional domestic travel; no international travel
