About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Conduct analyses on curated and/or aggregated DataMarts to generate analytical insights and identify business growth opportunities
  • Evaluate marketing investments and business cases for US Consumer products
  • Partner with business leaders to present insights, recommendations, supporting collateral, and presentations
  • Interpret complex business issues, generate multifaceted insights, and identify opportunities to address business needs
  • Present insights and recommended business actions using audience-appropriate visualizations and presentations
  • Translate business requirements into analytics and reporting needs
  • Serve as an authority on a business domain and provide context for analytics discovery and recommendations
  • Escalate data and process problems and recommend resolutions
  • Provide day-to-day analytics support and delivery
  • Synthesize complex information into actionable insights and strategy
  • Build business requirements and facilitate project execution
  • Gather analytics demand from business teams and work with the analytics hub to fulfill it
  • Explain anomalies and outliers identified during analysis
  • Train business users to integrate analytics into decisions
  • Develop analyses to corroborate proof of concept
  • Execute data requests accurately and promptly
  • Identify and investigate data and analytics issues
  • Implement action and remediation plans addressing performance, risk, and governance issues
  • Manage relationships across business lines, corporate functions, and control functions
  • Monitor emerging issues, trends, and regulatory requirements
  • Participate in team development, knowledge transfer, mentorship, and cross-training
  • Keep stakeholders informed about project progress and relevant day-to-day information
  • Represent the business area and bank as a brand ambassador

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Undergraduate degree or advanced technical degree preferred, such as math, physics, engineering, finance, or computer science
  • Graduate degree preferred with either progressive project work experience, or 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Strong expertise in profitability analysis for consumer banking products, including deposit and lending portfolios
  • Ability to communicate complex analytical findings through data visualization and business storytelling
  • Experience with financial analysis and financial model-building
  • Strong technical skills in Excel, VB, and Power BI
  • Some coding knowledge in SAS, SQL, PySpark, or Python is a plus
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Copilot
  • Knowledge of DataMarts, analytics, reporting, quantitative and qualitative methodologies, and data capabilities
  • Ability to manage stakeholders and work with business and analytics teams
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment and perform sedentary work
  • Ability to work onsite in Mount Laurel, New Jersey
  • Must comply with applicable internal and external requirements, including financial controls, segregation of duties, transaction approvals, and physical control of assets
