About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide specialized business management advice and support to management, leadership, and functional teams
- Understand trends, identify issues and opportunities, and recommend actions to management
- Lead implementation of initiatives supporting business and functional strategy
- Manage business management activities requiring coordination across multiple areas
- Support and manage integrated implementation of policies, processes, procedures, and changes
- Provide subject matter expertise and input to projects and initiatives
- Participate in identifying, designing, and testing solutions and support implementation activities
- Develop and provide complex reporting, analysis, and assessments
- Develop and deliver presentations and communications to management and broader audiences
- Adhere to internal policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines
- Identify variances and contribute to analysis, due diligence, and implementation of initiatives and business operations
- Support development and implementation of standards, policies, procedures, and solutions that mitigate risk and improve service availability, efficiency, and effectiveness
- Continuously enhance knowledge in the area of specialization and stay current on emerging trends
- Prioritize and manage workload to meet timelines
- Establish relationships across business and technology partners, program and project managers
- Participate in knowledge transfer within the team and business units
- Occasional domestic travel; no international travel
Requirements
What you’ll need- Undergraduate degree
- 3+ years relevant experience
- Specialized business management guidance and support experience
- Ability to handle short- to medium-term, non-routine specialized/complex issues and escalated matters
- Ability to independently perform tasks end to end
- Business management, strategy, and governance knowledge
- Complex reporting, analysis, and assessment skills
- Ability to implement policies, processes, procedures, and initiatives
- Ability to coordinate work activities across multiple areas
- Ability to contribute to project solution identification, design, testing, and implementation
- Ability to develop and deliver presentations and communications
- Knowledge of analytical tools and techniques
- Ability to identify variances, risks, and operational efficiency opportunities
- Ability to establish relationships across business and technology partners, program and project managers
