About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage a diverse portfolio of business management activities for complex or high-risk functional areas
  • Implement policies, processes, and initiatives supporting business management, strategy, and governance objectives
  • Execute business continuity oversight, issue management, audit and examination coordination, policy and procedure governance, records retention, and GSE/Investor/Regulatory 1B oversight
  • Collaborate with TD’s subservicing partner and internal business partners across multiple lines of business
  • Lead specialized business management functions and provide work direction to others
  • Provide specialized knowledge, advice, and guidance to stakeholders and team members
  • Complete complex projects and initiatives integrating cross-functional processes
  • Plan, lead, manage, and oversee work activities across multiple areas
  • Lead implementation of policies, processes, procedures, and changes across functional areas
  • Contribute subject matter expertise to enterprise and cross-functional projects, including solution identification, design, testing, and implementation
  • Facilitate executive discussions and provide thought leadership
  • Identify trends, issues, opportunities, risks, and regulatory impacts; recommend actions to senior management
  • Manage relationships with corporate and control functions and ensure regulatory alignment
  • Lead governance meetings, committees, and related deliverables
  • Lead or facilitate action and remediation plans addressing performance, risk, and governance issues
  • Recommend opportunities to improve productivity, effectiveness, and operational efficiency
  • Participate in knowledge transfer and support team members in achieving business objectives
  • Perform occasional domestic travel

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Undergraduate degree
  • 7+ years relevant experience
  • Strong mortgage background in multiple areas preferred
  • Knowledge of mortgage regulatory requirements preferred
  • Experience maintaining sub-servicer requirements preferred
  • Must live a commutable distance from Jacksonville, FL; Charlotte, NC; Mount Laurel, NJ; Greenville, SC; Lewiston, ME; or Portland, ME
  • Ability to perform sedentary work continuously
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks continuously
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment continuously
  • Ability to concentrate for long periods of time continuously
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend instructions continuously
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide continuously
