About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide credit writing support to a Relationship Manager
- Jointly manage a portfolio of approximately 60 mid-market accounts
- Structure credits to meet customer needs and address perceived risk
- Complete necessary due diligence
- Produce reviews and risk ratings reflecting knowledge of Bank policies and procedures
- Proactively monitor account trends and conditions
- Develop action plans for problem situations
- Deliver consistent and timely service to customers
- Assist the Commercial Banking management team in resolving customer problems with an innovative approach
- Report to a Manager Commercial Credit who coordinates workflow and provides coaching on credit structure, pricing, and presentation
Requirements
What you’ll need- Undergraduate degree in business or relevant professional designation
- Ideally 2–3 years of experience as a Financial Analyst or Account Manager in a business or banking environment
- Alternatively, experience in another profession that supports the needs of business
- Well-developed analytical skills
- Relationship management skills
- Mastery of a language other than French to support or deal with clients who need services and support in a language other than French
