About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support Analytics Zone users with data governance and data management activities, including metadata management, data onboarding, documentation, and compliance-related processes
- Identify opportunities to improve and automate data management processes
- Support implementation of innovative solutions that enhance efficiency and user experience
- Analyze and monitor operational performance metrics
- Identify trends and provide actionable insights for business decision-making
- Develop and maintain analytical datasets and databases by transforming and enhancing existing data sources
- Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and reporting solutions tracking key performance indicators and business outcomes
- Support one of the department areas: GIAC Insights, Revenue Insights, Claims Insights, Fraud, or Governance and Regulatory
Requirements
What you’ll need- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree in Mathematics, Business Insights, Statistics, Analytics, Data, Business/Commerce or related field
- Must be enrolled in an undergraduate degree with the intent of going back to school at the start of your work term
- Coding skills and knowledge of programming languages such as SQL and Python
- Knowledge of visualization tools such as Posit and Power BI
- Strong analytical, critical reasoning, and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable making decisions in ambiguous circumstances
- Ability to perform effectively independently and in a collaborative team environment
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage constant deadlines
- Applications must include a transcript, cover letter of one letter-sized page or less, and a resume of maximum two pages
- Must reside in Canada, as TD requires employees to reside in the country where the role is located
