Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform data analysis and assist in assessing data management requirements for a specific Platform or Journey
  • Articulate technical design and development details to non-technical business partners
  • Maintain foundational knowledge of upstream data through data profiling, data quality reporting, and metadata production
  • Support data acquisition and ingestion
  • Elicit, analyze, and understand business and data requirements to develop business solutions, including data models, ETL, business rules, data life-cycle management, governance, lineage, and metadata
  • Ensure data complies with enterprise data standards, policies, and guidelines
  • Develop and maintain ETL jobs using the Bank's standard tools
  • Support development and testing teams in resolving data issues
  • Support partners and stakeholders in interpreting and analyzing data
  • Provide data governance and availability support
  • Conduct reporting, research projects, presentations, and meaningful analysis
  • Monitor service and productivity, assess efficiency, and implement process and performance improvements
  • Acquire and apply expertise, provide guidance, and execute standard practices
  • Manage risks, follow policies and regulatory guidelines, and escalate issues where appropriate
  • May lead work streams as project lead or subject matter expert for small-scale projects or initiatives
  • Participate as a team member, support knowledge transfer, cross-training, and day-to-day project communications
  • Keep current on emerging trends, tools, techniques, and business developments
