About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the Consumer Business Excellence Data Assurance team serving Customer Advocacy, Customer Master, 1A Financial Crimes, and Community Lending & Development
  • Provide subject matter expertise and team leadership in business information management
  • Analyze, design, and support business information management solutions
  • Develop data repositories, warehouses, marts, data movement, wrangling, mapping, and ETL processes
  • Support data platforms, applications, tools, data preparation frameworks, and architecture used by functional groups
  • Support data modeling and develop data road maps and information management strategies
  • Drive complex data integration and adopt the Enterprise Data model
  • Gather and analyze data requirements to develop information management solutions
  • Develop data models, business rules, lifecycle management, governance, lineage, metadata, and reporting elements
  • Design and implement complex data information management frameworks
  • Collaborate with technology and business partners to resolve issues and meet SLAs
  • Develop requirements and provide guidance for data impact assessments and risk mitigation
  • Implement data management standards and ensure data quality
  • Perform data profiling using TD tooling and ad hoc query languages
  • Investigate root causes of data issues and support users throughout the data lifecycle
  • Identify critical data elements and support governance and data management programs
  • Conduct functional and enterprise-level analysis and provide recommendations
  • Monitor emerging issues, trends, and regulatory requirements
  • Mentor colleagues, transfer knowledge, and contribute to team development

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Undergraduate degree or Technical Certificate
  • 7+ years of relevant experience from a business administration, statistical, mathematical, scientific or financial background
  • Advanced knowledge of data sources, tools and technologies used in preparing summaries and reports
  • Analytical and problem solving skills to interpret data and draw conclusions
  • Knowledge of current and emerging competitor and market trends
  • Skill in analytical software tools, data analysis methods and reporting techniques
  • Skill in mentoring/coaching others
  • Skill in computer applications including MS Office
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently
  • Ability to exercise sound judgement in making decisions
  • Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work while meeting multiple deadlines
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Ability to contribute to strategic direction and advise senior leadership
  • Moderate-to-Advanced Data Management knowledge
  • Experience with Jira, Alteryx, SQL, and Databricks
  • Understanding of complex data architectures
  • Occasional domestic travel
  • Ability to perform sedentary work and operate standard office equipment continuously
