About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the Senior Manager overseeing Regulatory Reporting in coordinating the end-to-end regulatory reporting compilation process
  • Prepare, review, and submit annual and quarterly regulatory returns to the regulator
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with regulatory guidelines
  • Reconcile returns to the GL and source; flag, investigate, and resolve variances
  • Identify and explain quarter-over-quarter and year-over-year variances
  • Work with stakeholders to gather inputs and coordinate certifications
  • Support internal audit by providing required information and remediation support for audit findings
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and support implementation
  • Support the Senior Manager Finance on ad-hoc business requests impacting regulatory reporting
  • Provide accounting advice considering business, accounting, reporting, systems, processes, and control impacts

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • CPA designation
  • 2-5 years of experience in financial reporting or regulatory reporting roles, preferably in insurance business
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
