About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide Financial Crime Risk Management (FCRM) research, evaluation, operational, reporting and analytical support
  • Coordinate requests to and from FCRM business partners
  • Prepare summaries, communications, reports and presentations for management, regulators and stakeholders
  • Recommend responses to enterprise FCRM Program questions and escalate sensitive issues
  • Analyze data and draw conclusions for program health reporting
  • Analyze regulatory and departmental trends and recommend enhancements or remediation
  • Identify matters requiring additional review or escalation and liaise with appropriate staff
  • Coordinate tracking and reporting of FCRM initiatives and programs
  • Acquire and apply FCRM expertise and provide guidance to FCRM partners
  • Coordinate with FCRM and compliance partners to ensure consistent application of FCRM
  • Prioritize and manage workload to meet service-level requirements
  • Support team knowledge transfer, cross-training, coaching and guidance
  • Keep stakeholders informed about project and activity status
  • Participate in performance management and development activities
  • Maintain risk management and control processes aligned with risk appetite
  • Generally report to a Manager/Senior Manager Specialized FCRM

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years experience
  • Advanced understanding of products and services, processes, procedures, systems and concepts within the FCRM specialty
  • Ability to independently perform activities end to end
  • Ability to manage ambiguity and apply judgment to resolve business and operational issues
  • Ability to interpret and administer policies and implement business process improvements
  • Ability to prioritize and manage workload to meet SLA requirements
  • Ability to manage confidential information and escalate issues appropriately
  • Ability to identify and manage risks and escalate high-risk transactions or activities
  • Knowledge of emerging issues, trends and evolving regulatory requirements
  • Ability to adhere to internal policies, procedures and applicable regulatory guidelines
