About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the Manager, 1A Governance & Control, in executing the team mandate
  • Support Life and Health Products while working with control and internal partners
  • Provide risk-based guidance and advice in accordance with TDI’s business goals and risk appetite
  • Support risk-based reviews of strategic initiatives for TD Life and Health
  • Support regulatory filings
  • Support implementation of controls and risk remediation efforts
  • Work with Legal, Compliance, Operations, and distribution partners on risk identification and mitigation
  • Perform ad-hoc risk and regulatory duties as required

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Currently enrolled in an Undergraduate program
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, WebEx, and MS Teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic and deadline-driven environment
  • Excellent organizational skills and acute attention to detail
  • Ability to work as part of a team and/or independently
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Project management skills
  • Proficient in the MS Office software package
  • Applications must include a transcript, cover letter (one letter-sized page or less), and resume (maximum of 2 pages)
  • Employees must reside in Canada
