About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Identify and assess Top, Emerging, and Material risks quarterly
- Perform Risk Event Measurements on Significant risks to determine potential impacts across Combined US Operations
- Engage Business and Risk Subject Matter Experts to develop Risk Events for Enterprise Stress Testing
- Lead and support implementation of risk frameworks and related management activities
- Provide oversight, commentary, and recommendations based on strategy and industry best practices
- Develop and implement standards, policies, and processes to identify, report, and mitigate risk exposures
- Analyze potential risks, escalate key risks, and present findings and mitigation action plans to business executives
- Provide ongoing analysis and reporting on operational and major risk categories
- Coordinate or guide Risk & Control Self-Assessment, Business Continuity Management, Outsourcing & Vendor Management, and regulatory compliance activities
- Support enterprise-wide risk escalation, review, approval, data management, policy, and assessment processes
- Develop and monitor Key Risk Indicators and facilitate risk-issue resolution
- Provide support across operational, market, credit, reputational, and regulatory risk areas
- Conduct research, analysis, presentations, and communications for management and broader audiences
- Lead remediation plans addressing performance, risk, and governance issues
- Maintain relationships across business lines and oversight functions
- Monitor emerging issues, trends, and regulatory requirements
- Participate in cross-functional initiatives as a risk subject matter expert
- Mentor colleagues and contribute to team development
Requirements
What you’ll need- Undergraduate degree or technical certificate and/or 7+ years relevant experience
- Advanced knowledge of risk management governance, programs, policies, practices, operating frameworks, and reporting
- Knowledge of risk management environments, standards, regulations, and mitigation
- Knowledge of current and emerging competitor and market trends
- Experience developing and executing Enterprise Risk Programs, ideally Stress Testing or Scenario Analysis
- Experience supporting Risk Transformation initiatives
- Ability to establish goals and objectives supporting the strategic plan
- Ability to lead, plan, implement, and evaluate program/project activities
- Advanced skill in analytical software tools, data analysis methods, and reporting techniques
- Skill using computer applications including MS Office
- Effective oral and written communication
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently
- Sound judgment and ability to manage confidential information
- Ability to analyze, organize, and prioritize work while meeting multiple deadlines
