About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Oversee the Canadian Insider Investigation Team responsible for investigating internal insider risk allegations
  • Identify root causes and minimize loss and impact to customers and the business
  • Assist in final resolution of identified matters, including collaboration with law enforcement and courts to prosecute criminal activity
  • Lead, hire, develop, and manage the Canadian Investigations Team
  • Set goals, manage operational inventory and KPIs, manage employee performance and compensation decisions, promote teamwork, and handle disciplinary actions
  • Manage investigations related to Fraud, Falsification, Access Abuse, and Data Exfiltration
  • Support partners in HR and Financial Crimes Risk Management
  • Manage investigations inventory, team productivity, and cost per investigation
  • Deliver high-quality investigations in a timely manner supporting control enhancements
  • Ensure successful completion of audit and compliance deliverables and findings
  • Provide thought leadership in internal and external fraud investigations and insider risk programs
  • Develop partnerships throughout the business and supporting functions
  • Provide regular status briefings and engage with executives
  • Drive continuous process improvements throughout operations
  • Lead and develop the Canadian Insider Risk investigative program, including capabilities and operating practices
  • Improve investigative data management, reporting, trend analysis, and program effectiveness
  • Keep executives informed of significant investigations and prepare briefing materials on elevated-risk matters

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 10+ years of related experience
  • Strong investigative prowess and liaison skills
  • Demonstrated organizational and managerial skills to build and lead a team
