About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide specialized HR program analysis, non-standard reporting, and operational support
- Extract and analyze data across multiple HR systems for key projects and initiatives
- Develop and monitor HR processes and procedures
- Conduct ongoing analysis, evaluation, assessment, and review of HR programs and initiatives
- Monitor the HR landscape and assess gaps to support program implementation
- Conduct industry and competitive analysis to obtain market insights
- Provide analytics and insights to HR specialists and managers for planning
- Develop and maintain employee-facing documentation and communications
- Analyze HR policy and governance impacts on customers, stakeholders, and processes
- Liaise with partners and stakeholders to resolve program and employee issues
- Monitor service-level agreement adherence with external vendors
- Partner with vendors to deliver program objectives and solutions within timelines
- Manage workload to meet service and productivity requirements
- Conduct internal and external research and support presentations and communications
- Produce functional or enterprise-level reporting and meaningful analysis, drawing conclusions and recommendations
- Monitor service, productivity, and efficiency and implement process improvements
- Provide guidance, assistance, and direction to others
- Identify and execute standard practices for the discipline
- Manage risks and escalate non-standard or high-risk activities
- Keep current on emerging trends and regulatory requirements
- Lead workstreams as project lead or subject matter expert for small-scale projects and initiatives
- Participate in teamwork, knowledge transfer, cross-training, and performance development activities
- Keep stakeholders informed about project and activity status
- Provide training, coaching, or guidance as appropriate
- Act as a brand ambassador for the business area and TD Bank
Requirements
What you’ll need- Undergraduate degree preferred or equivalent work experience
- 2+ years of relevant experience
- Ability to work independently
- Good organization, presentation, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Solid knowledge and understanding of program administration and budget operations
- Solid MS Office knowledge, particularly Word and Excel
- Solid relationship building, strategic planning, consulting and basic financial skills
- Broad-based HR knowledge
- Ability to learn new systems quickly
- Familiarity with working in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment
- Ability to work in the office 4 days per week
- Ability to perform sedentary work and operate standard office equipment continuously
- Ability to concentrate for long periods and read, write, comprehend instructions, and perform basic arithmetic
