About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Define, develop, and/or implement technology controls and information security-related policies, programs, and tools
  • Provide specialized expertise and guidance on assessing risks, identifying potential gaps, and providing security solutions to mitigate risks and protect the Bank
  • Participate in projects of moderate to high complexity
  • Provide complex reporting, analysis, and assessments at the functional, business line, or enterprise level
  • Participate in complex, comprehensive, or large projects and initiatives
  • Act as a lead expert resource in technology controls, information security, and risk issues for project teams, the business/organization, and outside vendors

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 7+ years of relevant experience
  • Expert knowledge of IT security and risk disciplines and practices
  • Experience applying SRE practices to regulated workloads, including SLOs, error budgets, automation, and toil reduction
  • Experience with cyber-resilience and ransomware-recovery capabilities, including isolated recovery environments and clean-room restoration
  • Exposure to mainframe, payments, core-banking, or other highly critical enterprise platforms
  • Experience supporting regulatory examinations, internal audit reviews, or formal remediation programs related to technology resilience, availability, recovery, or business continuity
  • Experience integrating resilience requirements and control gates into Agile, DevOps, architecture review, change, and software delivery processes
  • ITIL 4, CBCI/MBCI, ISO 22301, CISSP, CISA, CRISC, cloud associate or professional certification, or relevant site reliability engineering training preferred
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Information security certification/accreditation an asset
  • Occasional domestic travel
