About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of the regional retirement, benefits and wellbeing strategy
  • Lead an assigned portfolio of retirement, benefits and wellbeing priorities
  • Design, implement and manage programs across Europe and Asia Pacific
  • Lead program reviews, market assessments, renewals and business cases
  • Translate strategic priorities into implementation plans, governance checkpoints and measurable outcomes
  • Develop scalable and compliant benefit solutions for new locations
  • Drive an integrated wellbeing approach
  • Monitor legislative, regulatory and market developments and assess program implications
  • Maintain governance, controls, procedures and supporting evidence in line with TD policies and risk appetite
  • Lead or support audits, remediation, regulatory change implementation, risk reporting and issue management
  • Manage relationships with consultants, brokers, insurers, pension providers, administrators and wellbeing partners
  • Support sourcing, due diligence, contracting, renewals, service reviews and remediation with Procurement, Legal and Risk teams
  • Monitor service performance, budgets and program costs
  • Simplify, standardize and automate processes using data, technology and approved AI tools
  • Develop reporting for decision-making, governance and continuous improvement
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives and working groups
  • Build relationships across regional and global teams and act as a trusted adviser
  • Champion a people-centred approach and represent the region in relevant forums
  • Deputise for the Director as required

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience managing retirement, pensions, employee benefits and/or wellbeing programs across multiple countries
  • Proven experience leading complex program design, implementation, renewal or transformation initiatives
  • Strong understanding of governance, risk, controls, compliance and third-party oversight within a regulated environment
  • Experience managing vendors and advisors, including performance management, commercial discussions and issue resolution
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
  • Confidence using data, technology and AI-enabled tools to improve outcomes
  • Relevant professional qualification in pensions, benefits, reward, HR, risk, finance or project management is desirable
  • Proactive and action-oriented, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
  • Curious, adaptable and committed to continuous learning and growth
  • Passionate about helping colleagues and advancing an inclusive wellbeing agenda
  • Digitally minded, with enthusiasm for AI, automation and process improvement
  • Collaborative and influential, with strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Commercially and risk aware
