About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead and manage a medium to large business management team or diverse function in an area of moderate risk, complexity, or scope
  • Develop, communicate, and implement a holistic strategy for the business management function
  • Oversee, lead, manage, and plan work activities requiring alignment across multiple areas
  • Lead development and integrated implementation of policies, processes, procedures, and changes across functional areas
  • Partner with management and teams on industry, enterprise, and business matters
  • Identify emerging trends, issues, and opportunities and recommend actions to senior management

  • Lead or contribute to cross-functional and enterprise initiatives
  • Lead governance meetings or committees and related deliverables
  • Oversee risk-based identification, monitoring, regulatory compliance, controls, and remediation plans

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Undergraduate degree
  • 7+ years relevant experience
  • Deep knowledge and understanding of businesses/technology and organizational practices/disciplines
  • Sound to advanced knowledge of external competition, industry and/or market trends related to the function/business
  • Knowledge of business management frameworks and methodologies
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements, risk management, governance, financial controls, segregation of duties, transaction approvals, and asset control
  • Ability to lead and manage a medium to large business management team or diverse function
  • Ability to develop and implement business management strategies, policies, processes, procedures, and changes
  • Ability to forecast programs/initiatives and coordinate portfolio prioritization
  • Ability to assess, mitigate, monitor, and escalate risk and compliance issues
  • Ability to establish relationships with business, technology, enterprise, corporate, and control-function partners
  • Ability to manage workload, meet deadlines, and deliver quality results
  • Ability to use standard office equipment
