About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as the regional lead for all community engagement initiatives, aligning local priorities, national strategies, and organizational values.
- Champion community partnerships, sponsorships, and engagement opportunities to amplify regional brand presence.
- Advance DEI priorities through inclusive program design, equitable partnerships, and community event participation.
- Elevate stories, outcomes, and colleague participation across channels and forums.
- Manage vendor setups, first payments, disbursements, and documentation using systems such as SharePoint and Cybergrants.
- Monitor payment timelines and coordinate alternate arrangements, including EFT/ACH options, to protect commitments and investments.
- Maintain audit-ready records and logs supporting governance, risk mitigation, and financial and regulatory compliance.
- Establish standardized workflows for reporting, approvals, and documentation across regions.
- Encourage colleague participation in community engagement efforts.
- Support feedback mechanisms and programs promoting diversity of thought, equitable representation, and shared learning.
- Navigate shifting priorities, emerging community needs, and evolving regional dynamics.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in community engagement, corporate citizenship, communications, operations, or a related field.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in stakeholder management, community engagement, operations, or program execution within a complex organization.
- Demonstrated experience managing financial processes, governance, and documentation in an audit-sensitive environment.
- Strong understanding of community investment models, DEI principles, and brand stewardship.
- Exceptional relationship-building, communication, and influence skills across senior leaders and cross-functional partners.
- Proven ability to balance strategic thinking with operational execution in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- French language skills is an asset.
