Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage a diverse portfolio of business management activities for complex or high-risk functional areas
  • Implement policies, processes, and initiatives supporting business management, strategy, and governance objectives
  • Contribute to strategic direction and develop and implement business strategies
  • Plan, lead, manage, and oversee work activities requiring alignment across multiple areas
  • Lead integrated implementation of policies, processes, procedures, and changes across functional areas
  • Provide subject-matter expertise to enterprise and cross-functional projects and initiatives
  • Identify, design, and test solutions and support implementation
  • Facilitate key discussions and provide thought leadership to executive audiences
  • Partner with management and leadership teams on industry, enterprise, and business matters
  • Identify emerging trends, issues, and opportunities and recommend actions to senior management
  • Manage relationships with corporate and control functions and ensure alignment with enterprise and regulatory requirements
  • Assess and escalate key issues to appropriate stakeholders
  • Maintain risk management and control processes aligned with risk appetite
  • Ensure business operations comply with internal and external requirements
  • Lead governance meetings and related deliverables and outcomes
  • Facilitate and implement action and remediation plans for performance, risk, and governance issues

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Undergraduate degree
  • 7+ years relevant experience
  • Specialized business management knowledge and experience
  • Ability to manage complex or high-risk functional areas
  • Ability to lead complex projects and cross-functional initiatives
  • Knowledge of enterprise frameworks, governance, risk management, controls, and regulatory requirements
  • Ability to assess issues, identify opportunities, and recommend actions to senior management
  • Ability to facilitate executive-level discussions and provide thought leadership
  • Ability to work effectively across multiple teams and functional domains
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment
  • Ability to perform sedentary work and multiple tasks continuously
  • Occasional domestic travel required
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the United States (implied by the U.S.-based role and employer context)
