About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage a diverse portfolio of business management activities for complex or high-risk functional areas
- Implement policies, processes, and initiatives supporting business management, strategy, and governance objectives
- Contribute to strategic direction and develop and implement business strategies
- Plan, lead, manage, and oversee work activities requiring alignment across multiple areas
- Lead integrated implementation of policies, processes, procedures, and changes across functional areas
- Provide subject-matter expertise on complex enterprise and cross-functional projects and initiatives
- Identify, design, and test solutions and support implementation
- Facilitate key discussions and provide thought leadership to executive audiences
- Act as a management and leadership partner, identifying trends, issues, and opportunities and recommending action
- Collaborate with multiple teams across initiatives and functional domains
- Manage corporate and control-function relationships and ensure regulatory alignment
- Assess and escalate risks and issues
- Lead governance meetings, committees, and related deliverables
- Facilitate and implement action and remediation plans
- Identify opportunities to improve productivity, effectiveness, and operational efficiency
- Support team objectives, client services, knowledge transfer, and a positive work environment
Requirements
What you’ll need- Undergraduate degree
- 7+ years relevant experience
- Ability to manage complex business management activities for high-risk functional areas
- Specialized business management knowledge and experience
- Ability to lead complex projects and initiatives requiring cross-functional process integration
- Knowledge of enterprise frameworks and business management methodologies
- Ability to manage corporate and control-function relationships and align with regulatory requirements
- Knowledge of emerging issues, trends, and evolving regulatory requirements
- Ability to assess and escalate key issues
- Knowledge of risk management, financial controls, segregation of duties, transaction approvals, and physical asset controls
- Ability to lead governance meetings and remediation plans
- Occasional domestic travel; no international travel
