About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

  • Manage prospecting activity within an assigned geographic region

  • Recommend improvements to operational efficiencies
  • Review documentation and partner with internal resources
  • Produce and submit regular activity reports to management and update the sales force

  • Recommend complete product sets and product enhancements compatible with card association regulations
  • Develop new business and cross-referrals to appropriate internal personnel
  • Conduct comprehensive analyses of new prospects to acquire business within established pricing guidelines

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 4 Year Degree or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 Years of related experience
  • Excellent sales skills, including history of successfully attracting new Customers
  • Demonstrated business development track record
  • In-depth knowledge of the merchant industry, products and services
  • Proven negotiation skills
  • Demonstrated relationship management skills
  • Expert communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communications skills
  • Strong PC skills with the ability to work online and with third-party reporting systems
  • Occasional domestic travel
  • Ability to perform continuous sedentary work, multiple tasks, office equipment operation, sitting, concentration, reading, writing, comprehension, and basic arithmetic
  • Ability to lift/carry under 25 lbs. occasionally
