About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop the mortgage customer base through referrals from realtors, builders, financial planners, and other centers of influence
- Build and maintain customer relationships
- Conduct mortgage development and sales initiatives
- Use TD’s sales management system to manage sales activity
- Participate in targeted sales training to build sales skills and credit knowledge
- Work with the Senior District Sales Manager through joint sales calls and monthly coaching sessions
- Build an independent business using TD’s brand
- Serve customers through TD’s Personal & Commercial Banking business
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven sales track record
- Exceptional quality sales skills
- Self-starter
- Independent, self-managed professional
- Experience developing new business in a fast-paced, competitive market
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, customer service, networking, and relationship management skills
- Knowledge of retail banking and/or credit adjudication is ideal
- Post-secondary education preferred
- Must comply with applicable provincial employment regulations in Canada
