About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Advise customers on high-level financial solutions across investment and credit banking solutions
  • Engage customers through thoughtful financial questions to create positive experiences and deepen relationships
  • Provide personalized financial advice, answer questions, address concerns, and maintain confidentiality and accuracy
  • Act as a point of contact for frontline staff handling customer problems
  • Maintain professional common areas according to marketing and regulatory guidelines
  • Conduct financial reviews, discuss portfolio updates, and recommend personalized solutions
  • Stay informed about emerging issues, regulations, and industry codes of conduct
  • Participate in process improvement opportunities
  • Achieve and improve service level agreements and productivity targets
  • Prepare documents consistently with relevant regulations and business intentions
  • Participate as a team member, assist and mentor colleagues, and address communication issues efficiently
  • Complete training and accept potential transfer or geographic relocation within the assigned region

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma and/or 1 year of relevant experience
  • Completion of IFIC or equivalent required
  • CFSA must be completed within 12 months, if hired
  • Post-Secondary or Undergraduate degree in related field is an asset
  • Real estate secured lending and/or investment experience an asset
  • Sound knowledge of advanced investing and credit processes, banking solutions and concepts
  • Proficiency in MS Office and internet applications
  • Tactful communication skills to exchange ideas and customer information concisely and logically
  • Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills
  • Must be mobile within the Assigned District, with geographic mobility as a condition of employment
