About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support Trust Officers with the administration and ongoing management of Indigenous trust relationships
  • Build client relationships and serve as a trusted point of contact for inquiries, service needs, and follow-up
  • Develop knowledge of trust administration, documentation, governance requirements, and account activity
  • Coordinate client meetings and complete commitments and follow-up activities
  • Navigate client requests and complex situations with TD Wealth partners and subject-matter experts
  • Maintain accurate client records and documentation while meeting regulatory, fiduciary, and internal requirements
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and strengthen the client experience
  • Build technical and relationship-management capabilities through increasingly complex trust matters
  • Stay current on trust and estate administration developments and apply knowledge to support clients and the team

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Undergraduate degree, College diploma, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 1 to 3 years experience in administration, legal support, procurement, contracts management, or Trust & Estates
  • Pursuit or completion of the Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP) designation is an asset, but not required
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage competing priorities
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Curiosity and interest in developing expertise in trusts, estates, governance, and wealth management
  • Genuine interest in working with and supporting Indigenous clients and communities
