About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Enable ServiceNow IRM/GRC and NowAssist capabilities through AI-driven platform solutions
  • Translate business needs into solutions aligned with risk appetite, governance standards, and regulatory expectations
  • Ensure the development pod creates organizational value through stakeholder-focused product increments
  • Align with business leads, product owners, and business analysts around the product vision
  • Create, maintain, and prioritize the product backlog and user stories
  • Manage end-to-end delivery of requirements and assess stakeholder feedback
  • Maximize product value and continuously improve the product and delivery process
  • Partner with senior management to deliver product vision and roadmap
  • Define Minimum Marketable Features, Minimum Viable Products, and release cadence
  • Review performance analytics and recommend strategies to improve customer or end-user experience
  • Participate in Scrum or Kanban events, including stand-ups and retrospectives
  • Prepare business process partners and establish Day 2 processes for application changes
  • Oversee user story design, development, completion, and acceptance based on Definition of Done and Acceptance Criteria
  • Manage delivery initiatives and, depending on complexity, multiple development pod backlogs
  • Raise delivery impediments and manage defect prioritization
  • Lead Quarterly Business Review submissions and discussions for the product
  • Monitor regulatory developments and adjust product strategy with senior management
  • Coordinate risk, quality, and business testing management
  • Make product delivery decisions and escalate as appropriate
  • Communicate product changes and backlog priorities to business, technology, and senior management
  • Serve as the development team's escalation point and guide decision-making
  • Compile performance metrics and define OKRs with stakeholders
  • Identify and manage organizational risks and escalate high-risk activities
  • Support team development, coaching, mentorship, knowledge transfer, and cross-training
  • Collaborate with Scrum Master, internal teams, and external business partners
  • Promote a positive, fair, diverse, and equitable work environment

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Undergraduate degree and/or product certificate
  • 7+ years relevant experience
  • 3-5 years Product Owner or Agile-related delivery experience
  • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification and project management experience considered an asset
  • Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) certifications or experience operating in scaled agile delivery considered an asset
  • Experience in eGRC / Non-Financial Risk Product Management at a large Financial Institution or G-SIB
  • Experience in one or more of: Issue Management; Incident/Event Management; RCSA; Business Continuity Management; Operational Resilience; Compliance Risk Assessment; Laws, Rules, Regulations Management / Regulatory Change Management; Policy Management; Monitoring and Testing; Product / Service Risk Management; AML Risk Assessment; Exam Management
  • Experience in ServiceNow IRM/GRC, translating complex business requirements into scalable solutions
  • Experience leveraging ServiceNow NowAssist to design and operationalize AI-enabled workflows
  • Experience in generative AI, prompt engineering, or AI-enabled workflows
  • ServiceNow certifications such as CSA, CIS-RC, or CAD and/or AI/Now Assist certifications
  • Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement in Charlotte, North Carolina
  • Ability to perform sedentary work, operate standard office equipment, sit, concentrate for long periods, and read, write, and comprehend instructions
