About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead, support, and guide a team of quality engineers within a portfolio, journey, line of business, project, or group of projects
  • Partner with Journey Solution Train Engineers, Release Train Engineers, and Product Owners to provide test services and strategies
  • Drive end-to-end testing for journey, program, and project features
  • Develop quality engineering capabilities and drive high-quality requirements and acceptance agreements
  • Ensure environment stability and availability and mitigate risks to TD systems and brand
  • Coach QE practitioners across platform teams
  • Manage large QE programs and projects across multiple technologies, platforms, lines of business, and solutions
  • Guide test strategies and plans for parallel initiatives using the TD Scaled Agile framework
  • Provide subject matter expertise in quality, performance, user experience, and future bug prevention
  • Implement test strategies and guide delivery teams in tools and environment setup supporting quality and traceability
  • Lead comprehensive end-to-end solution creation with accountability for feature delivery
  • Improve testing efficiency and implement cost-saving optimization measures
  • Guide teams on functional and API automation tools and troubleshoot problems
  • Understand requirements, attend workshops, identify resourcing needs, provide estimates, and define operating/governance models
  • Build partnerships across teams and departments and optimize talent utilization
  • Ensure QE resources are ready and trained according to the delivery pipeline
  • Implement QE best practices and maintain accurate status tracking and reporting
  • Align and manage stakeholders through timely reporting and communicate QE, automation, and non-functional value using metrics

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 10+ years of experience in functional manual and automation testing
  • Working experience in Payments domain, including Fedwire, SWIFT, and LYNX
  • Experience with API testing using Rest Assured
  • Experience with automation using Selenium
  • Knowledge of Maven and Git
  • Hands-on knowledge of Core Java
  • Hands-on knowledge of Cucumber
  • Knowledge of JUnit/TestNG
  • Exposure to AI solutions in testing, such as GitHub Copilot or other tools
  • Excellent documentation and verbal communication skills
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Engineering mindset
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
  • Scheduling via Jenkins and GitHub Actions
  • Mainframe experience
  • Basic issue analysis and triaging skills
