About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Service the needs of large and complex business portfolios

  • Gather financial and business information and coordinate analyses for credit decisions
  • Contribute recommendations to loan decisions and communicate credit decisions
  • Lead relationship management for assigned portfolios, segments, and/or geographies
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and continuously improve customer experience
  • Generate referrals to internal bank partners
  • Develop retention plans for assigned deposits and loans
  • Build community relationships and participate in civic, professional, and networking activities
  • Develop and execute sales and business-development strategies
  • Promote the full suite of banking products and capabilities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Undergraduate degree
  • 7+ years relevant experience
  • In-depth understanding of commercial industry, business development techniques, and credit decisions
  • Proven business development track record
  • Ability to conceptualize and implement effective new business strategies
  • Extensive network of outside referral sources for new business
  • Excellent credit and financial analysis skills
  • Effective negotiation skills
  • Ability to assess credit requests and make appropriate recommendations for structuring credit deals
  • Ability to perform due diligence, credit risk assessment, credit structuring, and credit presentation
  • Ability to comply with banking, regulatory, risk management, and Code of Conduct requirements
  • Ability to perform sedentary work, multiple tasks, and operate standard office equipment continuously
  • Occasional domestic travel; no international travel
