About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide leadership in corporate sales-focused efforts
  • Develop, steward, and manage corporate program sales strategy to enhance sales performance throughout the Retail network
  • Manage day-to-day responsibilities of an assigned budget
  • Provide store-level communication and results reporting for Retail Sales Programs
  • Develop staff analytical capability and enhance staff skills through training, practice, and outside education
  • Provide company-wide support and day-to-day oversight of Retail Sales Programs activities
  • Work with Retail management to plan, forecast, and analyze short- and long-term sales development strategies, financial goals, and programs
  • Provide or assign analysis, planning, and reporting resources for Retail Sales Program results
  • Review findings with appropriate management
  • Meet with business line leaders to determine sales priorities
  • Develop sales enhancement alternatives and present them to executive management and business lines
  • Formulate decisions and plans
  • Ensure sales incentive and promotional programs are administered accurately according to established rules and guidelines
  • Coordinate company and outside resources supporting sales development activities
  • Participate in special projects as required

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree or progressive work experience in addition to the experience below
  • 5-7 years of related experience
  • Demonstrated strategic and creative thinking
  • Strong project management experience, including meeting deadlines and staying within budget
  • Broad knowledge of sales development techniques, administration, and goal setting
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to perform sedentary work and multiple tasks continuously
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment continuously
  • Occasional domestic travel
  • Ability to sit continuously and stand/walk occasionally
