Key responsibilities & impact

Lead creation of comprehensive end-to-end solutions for projects and platforms
Own technical design and delivery of specific solutions based on stakeholder requirements
Develop and maintain technical solutions aligned with engineering and architecture principles
Plan, evaluate, recommend, design, operationalize, and support secure, reliable, scalable solutions
Advise and lead system/application administration, installation, configuration, provisioning, platform planning and design, integration, and release/deployment management
Execute engineering strategy for tools and automation across application, platform, and infrastructure build, test, release, and configuration activities
Create solution options and coordinate stakeholders to support development initiatives
Develop and document detailed solution designs and serve as an application subject-matter expert throughout the development lifecycle
Perform complex application and systems development, programming, and coding
Develop functional, technical, and user-interface designs meeting business and technical requirements
Consult on requirements and specifications and apply business-function knowledge to design software and systems
Review technical deliverables, identify gaps, and recommend redesigns
Identify, recommend, negotiate, source, and implement improvements or solutions to enhance customer experience, availability, and reduce costs
Define application metrics and performance goals with technology partners
Identify and resolve application, data, cross-capability, and cross-release issues
Analyze business requirements and current system environments to recommend optimal solutions and collect infrastructure requirements
Work with architects on environment modifications, data conversion impacts, and project performance requirements
Conduct code reviews, Operational Readiness Reviews, and solution design gating/sign-offs
Lead remediation plans for performance, risk, and governance issues
Maintain risk management and control aligned with regulatory requirements
Collaborate with stakeholders and contribute to engineering practice improvement
Mentor team members, share knowledge, and support engineering best practices
Monitor project status and communicate progress and relevant information
Participate in performance management, development activities, and cross-training

Requirements

What you’ll need

Undergraduate degree, Post Graduate degree or Technical Certificate
Strong academic background, such as computer science or engineering
5–7 years relevant experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or related field preferred
5+ years of experience as a Salesforce developer
5+ years of experience with HTML, JavaScript, XML, APEX, and Visualforce
5+ years of experience configuring Salesforce using workflows, validation rules, Lightning Flow, roles and profiles, reports, and dashboards at a large organization
5+ years of database experience writing SOQL queries and working with Data Loader, Workbench, and ETL tools for bulk data updates
Familiarity with agile software delivery methodologies such as Scrum
Experience with Financial Services Cloud and Experience Cloud
Experience defining systems strategy, requirements, design, prototyping, testing, training, support procedures, and business solutions under multiple deadlines
Experience with standard/custom object creation and validation rules
Experience in back-end Salesforce development, including data model design, SOQL, and web technologies
In-depth understanding of Salesforce architecture, capabilities, constraints, and business processes
Certified Salesforce Advanced Administrator or equivalent experience
Salesforce Certified Platform Developer 1
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Master's degree in Computer Science or similar discipline is a plus
