About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead, analyze, document, and manage business requirements throughout the initiative lifecycle
- Elicit, challenge, understand, and gain consensus on requirements with stakeholders
- Identify and validate current-state processes and support future-state design
- Provide recommendations based on end-to-end customer experience
- Analyze impacted business processes and systems and define clear acceptance criteria
- Work with Change Management to assess and manage customer, employee, and stakeholder impacts
- Document requirements-related dependencies and constraints between business and technology stakeholders
- Define acceptance criteria, support test-script development, and participate in testing and issue resolution
- Manage business-requirement traceability
- Provide business and product subject-matter expertise and focus on business value
- Generate forward-thinking ideas and identify improvement opportunities
- Escalate issues and recommend prompt resolutions
- Ensure work meets regulatory controls, standards, and best practices
- Communicate with stakeholders to align delivery frameworks and objectives
- Identify and manage risks and issues, escalating to leadership when necessary
- Support change-management, operational-readiness, implementation, and post-implementation activities
- Support RFI/RFP planning and activities when required
- Provide oversight and guidance for quality, reusable, scalable, and innovative requirements delivery
- Keep teams informed about project status and relevant day-to-day information
- Mentor others and contribute to team capability development
- Lead relationships with internal and external business partners and stakeholders
- Report to a Manager or Practice Lead
Requirements
What you’ll need- Undergraduate degree
- 5-7+ years related business analysis experience
- Business Analysis Accreditation is an asset
- Preference given to candidates with Agile experience
- Experience supporting enterprise data and analytics platforms through requirements gathering, capability onboarding, and stakeholder engagement
- Working knowledge of Azure, Databricks, data governance, and modern cloud-based data ecosystems
- Experience developing use cases, business requirements, operating models, and process documentation
- Ability to work across business, architecture, operations, and technology teams to translate demand into scalable solutions
- Experience in business analysis and delivery execution practices and standards
- Specialized domain, product, and systems knowledge
- Ability to lead requirements management for moderate to high complexity/risk initiatives
- Ability to identify and resolve complex issues
