About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide deep technical leadership, domain specialization, and expertise
- Set direction for developing and implementing solutions addressing emerging business needs and strategies
- Advance overall design architecture and technology capabilities in accordance with industry developments
- Influence senior leaders and provide guidance and governance to technology groups and business areas
- Work autonomously on high-profile, complex, and/or high-risk technology initiatives
- Provide technical leadership, consulting, and direction to larger engineering teams
- Participate in and deliver large technology engineering programs
- Implement machine learning and GenAI solutions
- Present to senior leaders, executives, and CXOs
- Perform occasional domestic travel
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's or Graduate degree
- Strong academic background, such as computer science or engineering
- 10+ years of relevant experience
- 10+ years of hands-on knowledge using Spring Boot, Python, Azure or other public cloud, APIs, Java, ReactJS, NodeJS, containerization, KAFKA streaming, and SQL/NoSQL databases
- 10+ years of experience in Agile delivery
- 10+ years of experience delivering large technology engineering programs
- 10+ years of experience presenting to senior leaders, executives, and CXOs
- Excellent communication skills
- 3+ years of experience implementing machine learning
- 3+ years of experience in GenAI solutions
- Experience in consumer banking or the financial industry is a plus
- Occasional domestic travel
- Ability to perform sedentary work, multiple tasks, operate standard office equipment, concentrate for long periods, use common sense in standardized situations, comprehend instructions, and perform basic arithmetic on a continuous basis
