About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage and lead a team of Technology Controls / Information Security experts
- Develop and/or manage relevant strategies, programs, tools, frameworks, and policies
- Provide specialized oversight, control, and governance activities for a key business line/segment or transformational strategic initiative/program
- Liaise across the organization and interface primarily with executive and functional stakeholders
- Minimize overall technology risks to the Bank for the assigned area
- Provide thought leadership and maintain a future-focused approach
- Oversee/manage moderate-to-large teams or groups in size, scope, risk, and complexity
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Information security certification / accreditation an asset
- 10+ years of relevant experience
- Hands-on experience with identity and access management, including MFA, strong and phishing-resistant authentication, and federation
- Demonstrated ability to develop detection engineering capabilities, including security monitoring design and response playbooks
- Practical experience designing secure infrastructure, including virtual networks (VNets), microsegmentation, and proxy architecture
- Working knowledge of agentic AI concepts, including control planes, delegation, constraints, and obligations
- Proven experience developing scalable and efficient threat-modeling practices
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
- Ability to present options in business terms to IT, business staff, and executives
- Deep expertise and knowledge of banking, technology standards, and leading large and varied teams of professionals
- Expert knowledge of technology controls / information security, technology, tools, processes, and procedures
