About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Deliver strategic Compliance and Supervision technology initiatives
- Design, develop, deliver, and provide operational support for technology solutions
- Build solutions supporting regulatory compliance, surveillance, supervision, and control oversight
- Partner with product, architecture, infrastructure, security, vendors, Compliance, Risk, Data, and Business stakeholders
- Build and support API-first, event-driven, microservices, and cloud-native architectures
- Integrate vendor platforms, proprietary systems, and enterprise data services
- Contribute to scalable, resilient, maintainable, and secure solution designs
- Follow Agile delivery practices and continuous delivery methodologies
- Embed auditability, traceability, entitlement controls, evidencing capabilities, and monitoring into system designs
- Support internal audits, regulatory reviews, remediation programs, and control assessments
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong hands-on Java development experience; JDK 17+ preferred
- REST/GraphQL APIs using Spring Boot or similar
- Strong SQL experience with any RDBMS
- Working experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka or similar
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities with attention to detail
- Agile experience focused on backlog execution, dependencies, continuous improvement, and outcomes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders
- Ability to work across time zones and locations
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field
- Relevant technology delivery and software engineering experience
