About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide technical support and quality approval of vendor estimates
  • Confirm repair scope, estimate accuracy, and timeliness
  • Identify industry best-in-class repair and estimating trends
  • Evaluate and approve Xactanalysis assignments and estimates throughout the claim
  • Apply policies, standards, guidelines, and controls consistently
  • Coach vendors on estimating standards and repair techniques
  • Manage residential evaluation files according to operational procedures
  • Liaise with vendors and file-handling analysts during evaluation and repair
  • Review original and supplementary estimates, images, measurements, and supporting documentation
  • Ensure damage scope aligns with TDI best-practice standards and IICRC requirements
  • Determine and record estimate overwrite/underwrite amounts
  • Provide vendor feedback and coaching during and after evaluations
  • Monitor Xactanalysis workflow compliance throughout the claim lifecycle
  • Assist with training, coaching sessions, or seminars
  • Champion TDI’s mission, vision, and values

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Formal training/experience with scoping and estimating
  • Xactimate/Xactanalysis training and knowledge
  • Insurance experience/background an asset
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • ASD training
  • IICRC Certification for Fire, Smoke, Water and Damage Remediation
  • Technical knowledge of structural repairs
  • CIP/FCIP an asset
  • Effective and confident negotiation ability
  • Strong communication skills
  • Bilingual French/English an asset
