About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop strong client relationships and provide strategic and creative counsel
- Manage program delivery from start to finish
- Brief the creative engineering team on multi-channel campaign concepts
- Run executive media relations programs, including media training for senior/C-suite clients
- Ensure excellent, consistent service and results through rigorous evaluation and measurement
- Grow client revenue through upsell and cross-sell opportunities
- Manage client profitability, budgets, costs, and resource planning
- Identify and engage prospects, intermediaries, and influencers for new business
- Participate in or lead credentials and pitches for multi-market prospects
- Develop strategic insight, strategy, and messaging
- Champion the cascading of US clients across the global network
- Retain, inspire, and develop a high-caliber team
- Manage and motivate direct reports and support career development
- Lead and participate in training
- Interview, onboard, and mentor potential hires
- Collaborate as a supportive member of the US management team
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience working for a PR agency
- Rounded B2B communications experience
- Evidence of running a large global client autonomously and with initiative
- Experience in the tech sector is strongly preferred
- Good understanding of trends and issues impacting business and stakeholder audiences
- Track record of exceeding goals
- Evidence of consistently making sound decisions through a combination of analysis, experience and judgment
- Successful commercial and operational management experience
- Strong media relations skills and close relationships with notable media
- Experience of leading and winning pitches
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Articulate and convincing presenter
- Ability to problem solve, project manage and multi-task
- Integrity, humility, self-drive/initiative, and a sense of humor
