About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as brand category and mixology expert
- Obtain menu placements in influential accounts
- Align with and participate in key local industry events
- Execute brand promotions, tastings, and trainings throughout the market
- Stay informed of customer and consumer trends and share insights
- Maintain activity and promotion calendars and communicate with distributors and the sales team
- Provide bi-weekly market activity reports to the Regional Market Manager
- Call on key on- and off-premise accounts and build relationships and brand awareness
- Use sales reports to measure brand performance and contribute to analysis and recommendations
- Ride with distributor sales representatives as needed
- Participate in out-of-market sales blitzes
- Maintain top-volume accounts and reduce losses
- Submit weekly program documents and deliverables
- Manage the assigned budget
- Visit other markets quarterly as needed
Requirements
What you’ll need- Passionate, self-motivated, creative, responsible
- Proactive communicator
- Comfortable speaking to small groups and being seen as an expert
- Great with people, from bartenders to distributors to consumers
- Sound financial skills and experience managing a budget
- Willingness to travel up to 30%
- Event management or promotional background is a plus
- Previous experience as a bartender preferred
