About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Maintain accurate ledgers for multiple entities, delivering accurate and timely information
- Ensure accurate journals are posted in a timely manner across the group
- Complete month-end balance sheet reconciliations
- Input supplier data and information into financial systems while maintaining financial controls
- Ensure goods and services are receipted promptly and accurately
- Review and match supplier invoices to approved purchase orders and goods receipts
- Resolve purchase order, receipting, and invoice queries with internal teams and external suppliers
- Improve procure-to-pay processes, controls, and system efficiency
- Process expenses and plan payments through NetSuite
- Review and code company credit card transactions to correct cost centres and general ledger accounts
- Administer the company credit card programme, including issuing and cancelling cards and maintaining cardholder records
- Process bank transactions and complete month-end bank reconciliations for all currencies
- Perform statement reconciliations and maintain supplier accounts
- Monitor the Accounts Payable inbox and respond to queries
- Upload and maintain daily sales data in the Sales Database
- Process and reconcile daily sales transactions
- Raise and process customer invoices according to agreed terms
- Allocate customer receipts and reconcile customer accounts
- Assist with month-end accounts receivable close and complete reporting requirements
- Maintain customer account records and comply with internal controls and financial procedures
- Monitor the Accounts Receivable inbox and respond to queries
Requirements
What you’ll need- AAT qualification (or working towards)
- Proven experience in both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Strong attention to detail with a strong numerical aptitude and financial integrity
- Strong and clear communication skills with experience of dealing with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Software proficiency using financial systems such as NetSuite and intermediate use of Microsoft Excel
- A proactive approach to tasks and ability to use own initiative to problem solve
