About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build and maintain production-quality gameplay systems, workflows, and tools in C++ on Unreal Engine 5
  • Provide technical guidance to teammates on code and content compatible with the simulation and network model
  • Collaborate daily with content creators and the engine team
  • Define and develop building blocks used by the content team to build the game
  • Focus on game mode systems for an unannounced project from pre-production through release and beyond
  • Collaborate with designers and artists across systems-focused engineering disciplines

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Ability to write, debug, and maintain code in C++
  • Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience building designer- and artist-facing systems, components, and tools
  • Experience developing with Unreal Engine
  • Experience with development on PC and console platforms (nice to have)
  • Background checks at the offer stage are required for new employees
