About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own financial-systems strategy and execution across Teamshares' network of companies
Design and implement ERP solutions
Evaluate financial-systems tools, platforms, payment processors, sales tax software, accounting automation, and specialized tools
Advise leadership on technology investments and platform selection
Work with implementation partners and company finance teams to design and execute ERP transitions
Recommend configuration, customization, or process changes
Establish financial-systems best practices, standards, governance, and scalable documentation
Define approaches for multi-subsidiary accounting, intercompany transactions, reporting structures, and tax compliance
Evaluate vendor recommendations and proposals; assess partners and vendors technically
Serve as escalation point for financial-systems challenges, diagnosing problems and coordinating solutions
Perform hands-on troubleshooting and execution
Build and lead a small team as the function grows

Requirements

What you’ll need

7-12 years of experience in ERP implementations, financial-systems leadership, enterprise accounting, or related fields
Deep hands-on knowledge of NetSuite and practical experience with other financial-systems tools
Strong judgment about financial-systems architecture and ability to evaluate platform, vendor, and approach trade-offs
Experience evaluating and advising on technology vendors and solutions
Comfort working with ambiguity and in growing organizations
Ability to communicate clearly with finance teams, implementation partners, technology leaders, and business executives
Willingness to be hands-on with troubleshooting, implementation details, and execution
Nice to have: experience leading ERP implementations or modernization initiatives for companies with multiple subsidiaries or complex financial needs
Nice to have: experience as a financial-systems consultant, solution architect, or in-house finance technology leader
Nice to have: experience evaluating and managing multiple financial-systems platforms and tools
Nice to have: background in financial operations, corporate accounting, or finance technology
Nice to have: hands-on expertise in NetSuite, QuickBooks, or similar cloud platforms
