About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own a book of 20–40 enterprise accounts as the sole account owner
- Retain and grow existing enterprise customers, with accountability for gross retention, net revenue retention, and expansion
- Build and maintain account plans covering stakeholder maps, renewal timelines, adoption status, expansion hypotheses, and risk
- Run renewals proactively with clear value narratives and negotiate commercial terms, including multi-year agreements
- Identify, qualify, and close expansion opportunities involving additional seats, products, and use cases
- Forecast renewals and expansion weekly in Salesforce, maintaining current stages, next steps, and close dates
- Receive qualified opportunities from the Enterprise Account Specialist desk when accounts grow past $10K
- Pass sub-$10K upsells within owned accounts to the specialist desk for booking
- Partner with Enterprise Solution Engineers on technical validation and solution design
- Collaborate with Customer Success and Support to resolve retention risks
- Work with partners, distributors, and resellers on channel-procured opportunities
- Provide customer and market insights to Product, Marketing, and leadership
- Contribute to customer references, case studies, and customer events
- Achieve gross and net revenue retention targets and expansion quota
- Maintain current account plans and known renewal paths, with clean handoffs across Account Executive and Specialist teams
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years in enterprise account management, renewals, or customer-facing sales with existing customers
- SaaS or technology experience required
- Proven record of retaining and expanding a book of business against retention and expansion targets
- Strong commercial skills: negotiation, multi-year structuring, and navigating procurement in mid-size and large organizations
- Consultative, solutions-focused approach with the ability to engage IT leaders and business stakeholders on value and roadmap
- Disciplined operator: weekly forecasting, account planning, and CRM hygiene (Salesforce)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; comfortable in executive conversations
- Entrepreneurial attitude with the ability to work in a rapidly changing, high-growth environment
- Spanish is a plus but not a requirement
- Up to 40% domestic travel
- Ideal candidate resides in the West or Central Time Zone of the USA
