About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage strategic projects from planning through to implementation
Work with department heads and project owners to set plans, timelines, responsibilities and deliverables
Track progress and flag risks, dependencies, resourcing issues and roadblocks
Measure commercial impact, including revenue growth, cost savings and efficiency gains
Prepare progress reports for senior management and the Board
Support project and strategy review meetings and ensure actions are followed through
Challenge existing ways of working and improve processes and delivery
Build consistent project management tools, reporting and governance across the group
Collaborate with the Head of Growth Strategy, department heads, CEO and Board
Undertake domestic travel to other sites as required

Requirements

What you’ll need

Proven project management experience, ideally 2 to 5 years
Strong commercial awareness and understanding of how projects affect revenue, costs and profitability
Experience managing cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders
Strong organisational skills and ability to bring structure to complex work
Confidence with data, spreadsheets and reporting tools
Excellent communication skills, with confidence to engage senior stakeholders and challenge constructively
Project management qualification such as PMP or PRINCE2 (desirable)
Retail experience (desirable)
Experience in manufacturing, supply chain, logistics or business transformation (desirable)
Proven track record managing multiple client projects at once (desirable)
