About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Administer the Microsoft 365 environment, including users, groups, licenses, permissions, and policies
- Administer Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and identity environments
- Administer Active Directory (AD), including users, groups, Organizational Units (OUs), and permissions
- Create, review, and administer Group Policies (GPOs)
- Manage the user lifecycle, including creating, modifying, blocking, and deleting access
- Administer access and permissions in accordance with security and least-privilege principles
- Provide support for Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive
- Administer and support Windows Server and Linux servers
- Support the administration of virtualized environments and corporate infrastructure
- Work in Cloud environments, supporting the administration, monitoring, security, and availability of resources
- Troubleshoot issues related to operating systems, networks, authentication, connectivity, and corporate applications
- Provide N2 technical support to users and assist with technical escalations
- Administer laptops, desktops, peripherals, and other IT assets
- Support equipment installation, configuration, updating, and standardization processes
- Monitor monitoring, backup, antivirus, and endpoint security tools
- Log and track incidents, requests, and problems through a Service Desk tool
- Prepare and maintain up-to-date procedures, inventories, and technical documentation
- Support infrastructure vendors and partners
- Identify opportunities to automate and improve infrastructure and support processes
- Contribute to the operation, administration, and evolution of the IT infrastructure environment, ensuring service availability, security, standardization, and continuity
Requirements
What you’ll need- Microsoft 365 – intermediate/advanced level
- Administration of users, groups, licenses, and permissions in Microsoft 365
- Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD
- Active Directory (AD)
- Administration and configuration of Group Policy (GPO)
- Administration of users, groups, and access policies
- Knowledge of Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive
- Windows Server administration
- Knowledge of Linux environment administration
- Knowledge of network infrastructure: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, Firewall, and VLAN
- Knowledge of virtualization
- Knowledge of Cloud infrastructure and services, preferably Microsoft Azure
- Knowledge of backup, endpoint security, antivirus, and patch management
- Troubleshooting of hardware, software, networks, operating systems, and authentication
- Knowledge of information security applied to infrastructure and identity administration
- Completed or ongoing higher education in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Networks, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields
- Microsoft Intune and device management
- Microsoft Defender
- MFA and Conditional Access
- PowerShell for administration and routine automation
- Administration of hybrid On-Premises + Cloud environments
- VMware and/or Hyper-V
