About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Participate in engineering solutions as part of an SSE project taskforce
- Provide technical support to internal and external customers for ongoing projects and/or field operations
- Perform original design and layout work to develop new or modified products
- Participate in projects under supervision of senior engineers
- Provide technical assistance within projects and manufacturing, fabrication, and installation sites
- Write and issue technical specifications and reports
- Assist in developing design bases for projects and manufacturing operations
- Serve project, manufacturing, MMR, workshop, warehouse, tool pool, HSEQ, and FST departments
- Follow Engineering, Quality, Environment, Health and Safety rules and procedures
- Create and check TCE and Engineering documentation through the ECN process
- Participate in design reviews and prepare engineering calculations
- Create and review procedures and work instructions for mobilization, demobilization, maintenance, refurbishment, and repair activities
- Perform dispositions of Quality and Service Notifications
- Support refurbishment/remanufacture activities and evaluate and approve concessions/deviations where required
- Participate in technical meetings with internal teams, clients, and suppliers
- Support local HSEQ activities, including RCA's, HAZOP's, and Risk Assessments
- Attend System Integration Tests (SIT's)
- Travel on-site for new product installation and commissioning when required
Requirements
What you’ll need- BS degree in Engineering preferred or equivalent with a first professional experience in the field
- Service/Customer oriented
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and project culture
- Fluent English & Arabic language preferred skills (Both written and Oral)
- Excellent Communication skills (both written and Oral)
- Strong basic knowledge in engineering
- Evidence of good organizational and problem-solving skills
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Well organised with the ability to work independently and under own initiative
