About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Prepare the mission and support the Offshore crew during operations
  • Ensure interfaces with the Client, suppliers, Offshore crew, and design team
  • Provide engineering solutions as part of an SSE project taskforce according to standards, procedures, processes, schedules, and budget
  • Produce documents and preliminary studies for tenders and projects
  • Take responsibility for installation of one or more products on major projects
  • Perform engineering activities for preparation and offshore installation of products
  • Plan, prepare, and confirm procedures and calculation notes for validation testing, transportation, installation, and lifting slings
  • Provide technical expertise during procurement and confirm project progress at interim meetings with the Lead
  • Participate in vessel mobilization and installation phases to validate technical solutions while respecting HSEQ rules
  • Ensure activities comply with project standards for Quality, Cost, and Time
  • Support development of computational tools

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's/Master's in Offshore Engineering, Civil Engineering, Marine Engineering or comparable
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience with Offshore Oil & Gas Industry, preferably subsea or an equivalent
  • Practical experience/understanding of preparation, coordination, and execution phase of projects in general
  • Good command of English, both verbal and writing
  • Strong technical basis in engineering and coaching skills
  • Project management skills
  • Good organizational and problem-solving skills
