About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Define project objectives in terms of duration and resources
- Pilot project status and ensure forecast reliability
- Develop schedules compliant with the selected execution strategy
- Plan to mitigate risks and reduce costs
- Define and optimize necessary E-P-C-I resources
- Define planning and scheduling systems, including methods, procedures, time schedules, physical progress, and dashboards
- Define realistic and feasible contract durations for management, the Proposal Manager, and Estimation Department
- Define project breakdown structures
- Support client approval of schedule baselines, claimed progress, and milestone achievement
- Increase project team awareness of milestones, durations, and critical paths
- Monitor and control project status, identify delays, and propose corrective actions
- Estimate delays related to changes and claims and prepare Extension of Time analyses
- Provide project feedback and lessons learned to improve planning and scheduling methods and departmental statistics
- Supervise or train less experienced colleagues on small and medium-sized projects
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering (Preferably)
- 7 to 9 years of experience in project planning
- Relevant hands-on experience in baselining projects using Primavera P6
- Cross-functional coordination on EPC projects
- Good knowledge of EPCI work processes and sequences
- Basic knowledge of the Global Business Process Management System (GBPMS)
- Ability to identify risks ahead with respect to OTD and cost
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to present data and facts clearly and consistently
- Good knowledge of PowerPoint and MS Excel
